The “Granja” bean, also known as “farm-style broad bean,” is the largest bean commonly consumed in Spain. It is white, with a kidney-shaped, wide and flattened grain. This variety has a thin skin and a smooth texture after cooking, with a delicate flavor despite its large size. It is ideal for cooking with clams or grouper.
