Dried Broad Beans

The grain of dried broad beans is almost oval and slightly flattened, with a greenish-brown colour that darkens over time. This legume is considered an excellent food due to its many health benefits. Dried broad beans are mainly consumed in the Region of Murcia, where they are used to prepare the traditional dish “michirones”, and are also popular along the eastern coast of Spain.
